Kansas taxpayers certainly have something to look forward to.On Monday, the state house approved an economic stimulus package that cuts the top corporate income rate, and creates tax credits for businesses.
Some critics of the package claimed that tax relief for businesses won't help the little guy. We beg to differ.
Who pays the price when the cost of doing business goes up? Consumers. Who pays the cost when businesses can't afford to pay wages? Workers.
Kudos to Kansas legislators for taking this opportunity to stimulate the state economy. If only their counterparts in other state legislatures would take a page from their book on competitiveness.
