The Congressional Budget Office released their analysis of S. 2191, "America's Climate Security Act" sponsored by Senators Lieberman and Warner. The report concluded a cap and trade system would impose a $1.2 trillion tax increase over the next ten years. Make no mistake. This scheme is nothing more than a tax increase that would raise energy prices and be an enormous burden on the American economy. Forget $4/gallon gasoline. How about $10/gallon?
